Environmentally friendly juices and lemonades

We were not experienced beverage producers at the start. We learned the art and skill.

We did it because we love the essence of natural tastes and the need to pay attention to every details.

And because we are convinced that choosing local, healthy and natural products, developed with passion, contributes to a healthier body and mind, as well as to a healthier planet.

Taking time

When you press fruits and vegetables, or infuse juice with a blend of plants, without adding anything, you must take the time to choose each variety of fruit carefully. This is the only way to achieve a harmony of flavours and create a juice or lemonade that is a joy to drink.

If you feel like reading more, you can find our selection here, the varieties and our reason for choosing them.

The production cycle: special attention to the environment

We source our fruits locally on a production line supplied with solar energy. The pulp of the fruits is either recycled into compost for the adjoining fields or transformed  into biogas.

We commit to purchase local, from production to sales

We work with local partners, from the land to the bottle. This is why we invest more than 60% of our income in local and independent suppliers:

  • We have a commitment to purchase core products (at least 50% of non-labor expenses) from independent suppliers local to where the product will be used or where the company operates.
  • We have a commitment to serve at least 75% local and independent clients or customers.
  • 100% Swiss fruit and vegetables: 76.7% from the Valais and 23.3% from the rest of Switzerland.
  • Our production costs are also allocated to local partners: we produce our juices and lemonades in Vétroz, Valais, in partnership with Biofruits, on a solar-powered line. Our labels and bottles are designed by 2 local companies in Sierre.

Glass bottles… labels… cardboard boxes

We also took our time here. So there can be as much pleasure in looking at the bottle itself as there is in drinking what’s inside.

We chose glass bottles for 2 reasons: plastic is not very healthy, and glass is more easily recycled, either for another use (like a vase, a bottle to store rice, flour etc.) or through appropriate disposal bins  where it can be recycled into new bottles.

The labels on our lemonades were designed by Sweet Rebels based in Nyon. Sweet Rebels is an impact communication agency that integrates people with mental disabilities in its creative project. As for the labels on our juices, we drew them ourselves!

To transport our bottles, we chose recycled cardboard, with a focus on minimum use of material. For example, we use no dividers inside our boxes, a simple yet meaningful gesture to limit use of cardboard.
